How To Maintain Your Car After Graphene/Ceramic Coating

How To Maintain Your Car After Graphene/Ceramic Coating

This article will provide information on how to keep your graphene/ceramic coated vehicle clean.

Extra coatings are designed to protect against corrosion and wear-and-tear. They are also designed to make cleaning easier by repelling water and other debris from sticking to the surface. Graphene/Ceramic coatings are also scratch resistant which means they will not get scratched up easily like paint or clear coatings do over time.

Ceramic Coating

The key thing with ceramic coatings is that they require less care than other types of finishes because it does not require waxing or polishing for protection against oxidation or rusting.

A car that is treated with ceramic coating is extremely durable, scratch resistant and easy to clean. However, it still needs to be maintained and cleaned properly. The coating is not a substitute for regular car washing.

Graphene Coating

In the world of paint protection, ceramic coatings have long been regarded as among the best forms of protection one can give a vehicle. While Graphene Coating has stronger physical properties, ceramic coatings also deliver a good degree of physical protection while also enhancing the natural look of the car.

The Do’s and Don’ts

Don't forget it takes about a week for the ceramic coating to cure 100%. These are the things you should not do right after getting a ceramic coating:

  • Don’t drive through mud, salt and snow

  • Avoid driving in the rain

  • Bird droppings, tree sap and bug splashing should be washed off a car paint immediately after they occur. Otherwise, they will become harder to remove.

  • We recommend to use products like CarPro Reset ceramic to wash the car. They are made with coatings in mind and are gentle while still providing enough cleaning power to keep your surface protected.

  • Avoid touchless car washes. Touchless car washes do an excellent job of washing your car, but they can also be pretty harsh on your car’s ceramic coating. They contain cleaning agents that are strong enough to cut through grease, and they often use acids too. These substances can both shorten the lifespan and ability of your ceramic coating.

  • Don't air dry use a microfiber towel to dry your vehicle well. These types of towels are good at picking up dirt, bacteria and germs and can quickly dry the vehicle.

Final Thoughts on Keeping a Graphene/Ceramic Coated Vehicle Clean

Keeping a ceramic coated vehicle clean is an easy task. The ceramic coating on the surface of the car is made of a thin layer of glass that can be scratched easily. With proper care, you can keep your car looking great for years to come.

Graphene/Ceramic coatings are not bulletproof. They will maintain their luster and function, but they still need care just like any other piece of property. Don't let your investment go to waste!
